“This was the first audit Cooper Parry performed and whilst I appreciate that there is a bit of a learning curve the first time, there are a few areas that could have been smoother. We found that there was at times lack of continuity for example we would explain something to one person, then then would go on study leave and then we would have to explain the same thing to someone else. It would help if there was better knowledge sharing amongst the team. Having said that, the team were always polite and professional, making us happy to assist and to collaborate with them.

“There were issues with the audit, particularly in meeting deadlines. We accept that this was in part due to the fact that this was the first audit carried out by CP after decades with Mazars, but there seemed to be issues with the work done during the audit that was not monitored/checked to ensure that it was sufficient prior to sign off. However we did get the accounts signed and filed in a time that did not upset our bankers and James worked very hard to recover time lost and make sure that CP had carried out all of the required audit work to enable the accounts to be signed off.”

It would be nice if the Inflo platform allowed more than one requestee to be added on a request that requires multiple inputs. But the audit team have found a way around this which again makes our lives easier.”
