Healthcare deal

The Cooper Parry Deals team have sealed their latest high-profile deal, adding to an ever-growing, ever-impressive track record in the healthcare sector.

They acted as lead advisers to private equity firm Livingbridge as it invested in AJM Healthcare (AJM), the leading provider of NHS wheelchair services in England.

With a team of more than 270 people, AJM supports over 100,000 wheelchair users across 13 locations and over 30 clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in the UK, delivering a clinically led, best-in-class service to meet their diverse needs.

In a similar fashion to the Cooper Parry Deals team, Livingbridge has a close affinity to the healthcare sector, and after this deal, it has now completed over 25 healthcare investments globally.

The investment will fuel AJM’s continued growth and make sure more people feel the benefits of its well-renowned, vital service in the future.

Andy Parker, Partner at Cooper Parry Deals, said:

“Having worked with both Livingbridge and AJM Healthcare before, we were aware what a great fit the two parties would be and are delighted to have assisted Livingbridge with its investment. The business is poised for continued strong growth in a segment of the healthcare market which is undergoing reform in order to provide improved service levels to patients. The deal underlines both our healthcare and private equity experience.”
