Our Transaction Services team just got a serious boost.

Ben Turner has joined Cooper Parry as Director, based out of our buzzing Thames Valley Superhub. He brings with him over a decade of experience from KPMG, where he worked across a broad range of deals – from homegrown UK transactions to complex cross-border activity – supporting both corporate and private equity clients.

Ben’s arrival strengthens our Transaction Services presence in the South. Helping ambitious businesses buy, sell or invest with confidence. Backed by sharp financial and tax due diligence.

He’s particularly well-versed in the tech space, with a strong track record supporting businesses undergoing IT/digital transformation or working within the SaaS world. That hands-on sector experience is going to be a huge asset for our clients.

Ben’s appointment comes at a time of rapid growth for CP Deals – our integrated deals service which combines expertise across Corporate Finance, Transaction Services and Transaction Tax. CP Deals focuses on a number of key sectors in the mid-market M&A space, particularly tech. Ben brings significant experience of working in this sector and with PE investors.

There are now 70 people in the national Deals team, with 16 based in London and South, bringing the firepower mid-market businesses need during one of the biggest moments in their journey.

One recent tech deal supported by CP Deals includes TrustID, a UK market leader in Right to Work (RtW) and digital identity verification services based in Reading, which was sold to The Citation Group, a global compliance software specialist serving SMEs. CP Deals advises the shareholders of TrustID on sale to The Citation Group

Ben Turner, Transaction Services Director, said:

“Joining a firm as ambitious and energised as Cooper Parry was a no-brainer. Working within deals means you’re a part of big moments for clients – offering trusted, genuine advice when it really matters – and it’s that which keeps me loving this work after all these years. On top of this, Cooper Parry’s joined-up approach to supporting clients makes what we do even more rewarding.”

Simon Nichols, Transaction Services Partner, added:

“I’m genuinely delighted to welcome Ben to the team. His deep sector knowledge and deal experience will be a huge asset to our clients. It’s an exciting time for CP Deals – we’re scaling fast and investing in brilliant people across the UK to help mid-market businesses navigate the deals landscape with clarity and confidence.”
