What do you do?

As Lead Financial Reporting Director I provide technical advice and consultation on all aspects of financial reporting. I evaluate technical issues to find solutions for our CP teams and work on ad hoc projects directly with clients. 

Why do you do it?

I fell into accountancy after finding architecture was not for me.  After many years in auditing, I found my niche in researching technical issues of all kinds and now focus on financial reporting. I enjoy solving problems, providing solutions and the research involved. CP’s diverse client base leads to a variety of challenging and interesting issues to become involved in. I love the flexibility of working at CP and the trust they place in you to work independently for the benefit of both yourself and CP. 

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

I’ve been involved in many projects over the years. Currently each individual query can be a project in itself which ultimately helps clients to achieve their objectives in the regulatory frameworks which we are required to comply with. 

What’s top of your bucket list?

I would love to visit the Taj Mahal, (when there are no crowds!) I also have a desire to learn British Sign Language when time permits.
