What do you do?

As a Partner in the Transaction Services practice, I lead our team across the North, delivering high-quality financial due diligence and transaction support to a broad range of clients. I advise corporate, private equity and financial institutional investors on acquisitions, disposals, investments and fundraisings, helping them assess risk, unlock value and make informed strategic decisions.

I bring deep sector expertise in Food & Beverage, where I not only support clients on complex transactions but also lead our firm’s sector initiative, collaborating with colleagues across all service lines to drive insight, market presence and growth within the industry.

Why do you do it?

I do this role because I genuinely enjoy making a difference at pivotal moments for my clients. Transactions are often defining events for businesses and investors, and I take real satisfaction in helping them navigate complexity with clarity and confidence.

The variety of deals means no two situations are ever the same, which keeps the work dynamic, challenging and intellectually stimulating. I’m naturally curious, so getting under the skin of different business models, is both fascinating and rewarding. I also value the opportunity to interact with a wide range of stakeholders — from management teams and founders to private equity houses and advisers — and to provide clear, insightful advice that helps them make well-informed decisions.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Over the past 20+ years, I’ve had the privilege of advising clients on a wide range of transactions, supporting both buy-side and sell-side engagements for public and private companies in the UK and on cross-border deals. I have also worked on numerous IPOs, guiding businesses through the financial due diligence and preparation required for public markets. The majority of my experience has been in the mid-market, where I particularly enjoy the combination of entrepreneurial ambition and strategic growth that defines many of these businesses.

My deal experience spans a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing, logistics, and consumer & retail. However, my real passion has been in Food & Beverage, where I have supported clients on a variety of exciting transactions across subsectors such as bakery, snacking, protein, beverages, and chilled and frozen food. This breadth of experience has given me a deep understanding of sector-specific dynamics, from supply chain and input cost pressures to brand positioning and margin optimisation, enabling me to provide commercially focused and practical advice.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

One of the most enriching experiences was spending seven months travelling across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, fully immersed in the food, culture and diversity of so many incredible countries. Travel remains a real passion of mine, and South America is firmly on my bucket list for its culture, landscapes and culinary heritage.

Having grown up in Zambia, I also feel a strong desire to return one day with my wife and children, to share a part of my story with them. I would love for us to experience together the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls and the remarkable wildlife sanctuaries that make the country so special.
