What do you do?

I help finance teams find the right people, especially when they need project support, interim expertise or to understand the benefits of artificial intelligence and Power BI. I’m all about building solid relationships with clients (I love a chat!) and making sure they have the technical accounting help they need, whether that’s offering advice, solving problems, or helping my team develop and grow. Every day is a mix of meeting clients needs and supporting my teams to ensure we deliver the best solutions for our clients. 

Why do you do it?

I love seeing the difference the right support can make for a business. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping companies get through a resource constrained period, improve their reporting, and use their time more efficiently. After years in practice, industry, and even teaching at university, I’ve seen how much value comes from sharing knowledge and building partnerships. I can relate to our clients and their challenges as I have been there!  My goal is to help finance teams not just get through a challenge but come out stronger on the other side. 

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

My journey has been full of variety! I’ve advised on high-profile transactions while at KPMG, played a senior role in the finance team of a private equity backed group, and later guided students as a lecturer in Accounting and Finance. In recent years, I’ve led technical accounting assignments, carried out financial due diligence, and more recently managing the client relationships and overseeing the strategic direction of the Interim Specialist and Intelligence operations. Whether it’s a complex deal, an interim assignment, or a training session, I thrive on tackling new challenges and finding practical solutions. 

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Having travelled a lot when I was younger—exploring new countries, experiencing different cultures, and collecting memories—I’ve now got a new kind of adventure at the top of my bucket list: seeing the world with my husband and children. My dream is to create those unforgettable moments for my kids. From road trips in Scotland to far-flung destinations – I love an adventure!
