What do you do?

If you asked me over a glass of (red) wine, I’d say:

I help business owners make smart legal moves – whether they’re growing, selling, protecting what they’ve built, or planning for the future.

• Corporate Restructuring – I help businesses shift assets, set up new entities, or reorganise their structure to protect value and save tax. Think: separating trading from property or prepping for succession or sale.
• Demerger Deals – When a company’s doing too much under one roof, I help split it up so each part can run smoother – great for growth, sales, or family planning.
• MBOs – I guide management teams through buying the business they run. From deal structure to legal docs, I make sure it works.
• Share Buybacks & FICs – I help tidy up ownership and keep wealth in the family. Whether it’s buying out a shareholder or setting up a Family Investment Company, it’s all about control and legacy.
• M&A Transactions – Buying or selling a business? I handle everything from early negotiations to final contracts – keeping things fast, clear, and stress-free.
• Shareholder & Partnership Agreements – I draft and review agreements that set out who owns what, who makes decisions, and what happens if someone wants out. It’s about clarity, fairness, and avoiding future fallouts!
• Wills & EPAs – Whether it’s a simple will or a full estate plan to mitigate inheritance tax, I make sure their wishes are clear and their loved ones protected.

Why do you do it?

Because I genuinely love it! I’m 100% invested for all my clients! I’ve got huge respect for the business owners I work with – what they’ve built, how they’ve grown, and the grit it takes to get there. Being part of their journey, helping them make smart moves and avoid legal potholes – that’s the good stuff.

And the people I work with? Brilliant. The sharpest legal brain I know isn’t even a solicitor – which says a lot about the kind of team we’ve got at CP. There’s nothing better than delivering a clean, well-drafted solution that just works.

CP’s culture fits me perfectly. With four young kids, flexibility isn’t just nice – it’s essential. And here, I get to do work I love, with people I rate, in a way that works for my life.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

The best ones are the long journeys – starting with incorporating a new company, drafting employment policies, shareholder agreements, T&Cs, and sticking with them as they grow. I help shape bespoke contracts with suppliers and clients, guide them through a sale, and sort their wills and EPAs. It’s about being there for every stage, not just the big moments.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Switzerland. I got hooked on hiking after trekking around Wales this summer, and now I want the full Alpine experience. I just need my husband to carry our 4-yr old up the mountains!

I’d also love to run a marathon one day. I’ve ticked off a couple of half marathons, but carving out the time to train properly is tricky. Right now, I’m loving running with my kids – they’re getting into cross country at school, and now I’m just trying to keep up with them.

Bucket list-wise, I’m always up for something new – new food, new places, new music. If it’s an adventure, I’m in.
