What do you do?

My role is pretty varied. I lead on pre-sales opportunities for new prospects to convince them of Oracle NetSuite and CP Digital. I lead the development and integrations team within our NetSuite practice and occasionally will dip into projects as a Solution Architect to share my experience on complex projects, mainly where integration is required.

WhY do you do IT?

I fell into ERP after graduating without really knowing what it was. I get great satisfaction of contributing to a business’ growth and being able to provide processes and systems that make a difference. I started and grew a NetSuite consultancy with 3 friends that quickly grew into one of the biggest and best in EMEA, which is now a part of CP Digital, so my drive is continuing to grow that and keep progressing it as far as we can.

WhAT KINDS OF PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?

The most exciting projects I’ve worked on are in the retail vertical. I don’t get to be in the detail as much as I was early in my career, but learning about a company’s processes, understanding their growth ambitions, and trying to piece together systems, process and data to automate and make their business as efficient as possible gives me great satisfaction. It doesn’t sound very glamorous I know…

WhAT’S ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST? 

Two places I will visit eventually is New York at Christmas and Japan.

I love sport, so being able to attend a World Cup Final, Superbowl or an away Ryder Cup is on the list.
