What do you do?

I am a Senior Recruitment Manager with over 11 years of experience recruiting within accountancy & finance individuals of all levels across Dundee, Perth & Fife. In particular I specialise in the recruitment of qualified senior finance professionals with a focus on management & financial accountants, finance business partners, finance managers and financial controllers. I possess a thorough understanding of the Accountancy & Finance market and the unique challenges when recruiting in the local area. I act as a true recruitment partner, sourcing the best talent for organisations and supporting with key insight and expert advice to ensure business needs are met. I have a strong background in recruiting for organisations across the public, private sectors and third sectors, from start-ups to SMEs and enterprise customers with a key focus on 360 recruitment and client management offering both permanent and temporary staffing solutions. 

Why do you do it?

I love working in recruitment because it allows me to make a real difference in people’s lives while helping businesses grow and succeed. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to connect talented individuals with roles that truly fit their skills, values, and ambitions. I enjoy the fast-paced nature of the industry, the satisfaction of closing a successful placement, and the relationships I build with clients and candidates alike. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that my work helps people take the next step in their careers and enables organisations to thrive with the right team in place. 

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Throughout my long career in recruitment I have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of exciting and impactful projects that have challenged me and strengthened my skills. I’ve partnered with clients on large-scale hiring campaigns, helping them build entire teams from the ground up, and supported fast-growing startups in finding the key talent that drives their success. I’ve also worked on niche and high-level executive searches, where identifying the perfect cultural and professional fit was critical. Each project has given me a chance to collaborate closely with candidate and clients, understand their unique needs, and deliver tailored recruitment strategies that make a real difference to their business outcomes.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

Anyone who knows me — colleagues or clients — knows that I absolutely love my holidays. At the top of my bucket list is a dream trip: taking a month off work (no small feat in recruitment!) to travel Route 66 across America with my partner. One day, I’m determined to make it happen!
