What do you do?

The bulk of my role is delivering the acquisitions that CP does.  This involves the full acquisition process from initial negotiations with shareholders, managing due diligence and legal workstreams, right through to completion where I then hand over to the integration team.

Why do you do it?

Having done a similar role in several other firms, this was a natural move for me but I do feel extremely lucky to have found CP especially at such an exciting time in the company’s journey. We are averaging 5 or 6 acquisitions every year which makes it very busy for me and my team, but I love what I do, and I love working at CP!

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

The best thing about my role is the variety of projects I get to work on. Since joining in 2023 I have done all our acquisitions including Haines Watts, Cloud Orca, UHY and Macrofin and all are very different. I was also involved in our own recent transaction where Lee Equity became our new investors which was another fantastic experience.

What’s on top of your bucket list?

This is an easy one. I want to trek to Everest Base Camp! I’ve always loved hiking and the idea of seeing Everest up close is extremely appealing. I also think you’d meet so many different types of people and come back with lots of stories to tell the grandkids one day…
