Let’s talk today
Want us to call you? Let’s start a conversation!
What do you do?
I support private equity, corporates and entrepreneurs through acquisitions, divestments and fundraising, helping them achieve their strategic objectives and beyond. I assess the financial health of businesses, mitigate risks, pinpoint value drivers and deliver clear, commercial insights that influence deal terms, pricing, value creation and strategy. I also work with Chulanga Jayawardana (Transaction Services Partner) to grow our deals practice across the North, which keeps my days exciting, varied and involves plenty of scenic trips, conversations and coffee.
Why do you do it?
I’m fascinated by how companies work, across sectors, business models and markets. I enjoy collaborating with clients to unpack what makes their businesses unique and help them to continue to evolve. It’s a role where I’m always learning, sharing best practice and seeing tangible impacts. I’m driven to help build stronger businesses that benefit owners, employees, customers and the wider economy.
What kind of projects have you been involved in?
I spent just shy of a decade with PwC, initially in Audit and then Transaction Services in Hong Kong. My experience spans across numerous sectors and transaction types, including buy-side/sell-side transactions across healthcare, apparel and tech. Recent examples include advising private equity on healthcare acquisitions in the APAC, fundraising for garment manufacturers for volume expansion and supporting a Japanese fund (part-public/part-private) in their tech-based investment to enable the market expansion of Japanese products overseas.
What’s on top of your bucket list?
Top of my bucket list was exploring Japan and all it has to offer, from food to tech to scenery. I’ve been fortunate to visit several times in recent years, but I always find new reasons to return. The latest ones being to bring my family along and another being to hike Mount Fuji (though I don’t quite think they’ll join me for the hike).
