I’m pleased to announce that Cooper Parry Wealth (CPW) has taken the next step in making our growth strategy a reality. We’ve appointed Darren Lees as our first Relationship Partner in Scotland. Reinforcing our long-term commitment to Scotland.
When we set out our growth plans for CPW, we made it clear we would invest in the people and regions that matter most to our clients. Scotland is a hugely important market for us and Darren’s appointment is a significant milestone in that journey.
We know Scotland has an exceptionally strong entrepreneurial community with every region within it offering its own opportunities and challenges. We’re seeing increasing demand from business owners and families looking for advice that brings together wealth planning, tax and wider business expertise.
We’re building a long-term presence, bringing together wealth planning with the wider expertise that exists across CP. Darren’s experience, reputation and understanding of the Scottish market make him the ideal person to help us deepen relationships, support clients and drive the next phase of our growth in the country
Darren’s appointment builds on our plans to expand nationally through strategic investment in people, acquisitions and deeper integration with the wider CP business. Scotland’s been identified as a key growth market for us.
Based in Scotland Darren will work closely with clients, professional introducers and CP colleagues to strengthen relationships. He’ll be helping clients access the firm’s integrated wealth planning tax and business advisory expertise.
With more than a decade of experience advising entrepreneurs, business owners and high net worth individuals with strong Scottish connections, Darren brings an established network and deep understanding of the local market. He’ll play a central role in developing CPW’s presence across Scotland. Working alongside Cooper Parry’s growing tax and advisory teams to deliver joined-up advice tailored to clients’ personal and business ambitions.
As Darren said of his appointment:
“I’m delighted to be joining Cooper Parry Wealth at such an exciting stage in its growth. From the outset I was struck by how closely the firm’s values and cultures align with my own, particularly its commitment to putting clients at the heart of every conversation and every piece of advice.
“My experience has always centred on building long-term relationships with clients and helping them navigate important financial decisions, so it felt like a natural fit. Cooper Parry has already built an exceptional business with the expertise, investment and collaborative approach needed to support clients in a truly joined up way. I’m excited to help grow that presence across Scotland, introducing more people to what makes the business different while building on the strong foundations already in place.”
