Let’s talk today
Want us to call you? Let’s start a conversation!
What do you do?
I help companies manage the challenges that come with employees working internationally. Whether it’s international secondments, business travel, remote working, overseas hires or international expansion, I help businesses understand and manage the tax implications for both their people and the organisation. From the initial planning stage through to ongoing compliance, I work with clients to make global mobility as straightforward and seamless as possible.
WhY do you do IT?
I fell into it by chance. I studied Accounting at university and tax was the one module that I genuinely enjoyed and clicked with from day one so applying for tax graduate roles felt like a natural next step. I then found myself in Global Mobility almost by accident. What has kept me in the profession is how much the world of work has changed. Employees now expect greater flexibility in how and where they work, whether that’s remotely, through commuter arrangements or via regular international travel. I enjoy helping businesses adapt to those changing working patterns and navigate the opportunities and challenges they create.
WhAT KINDS OF PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is supporting clients at every stage of their Global Mobility journey. I’ve worked with businesses taking their first steps into cross-border working with just one or two internationally mobile employees, right through to organisations with established global mobility programmes operating across multiple countries. I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, from sports clubs and large construction businesses to professional services firms. What makes the role particularly interesting is that no two clients are the same and the rules can vary depending on the sector, the type of work being performed and where it’s carried out. I enjoy helping clients navigate those complexities, whether that’s supporting international expansion, managing a globally mobile workforce or developing mobility programmes that help attract and retain talent. Seeing Global Mobility evolve from a compliance requirement into a strategic tool that supports business growth and talent development is particularly rewarding.
WhAT’S ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST?
Visiting Nashville and going to CMA Fest – I’m a massive country music fan and and my love for it only grew when I was seconded to the US myself.
