What do you do?

I am a recruitment consultant based in Edinburgh, focussing on part-qualified and transactional finance professionals. I support businesses across Edinburgh, The Lothians, The Borders, and Stirlingshire, by connecting them with talented individuals who can strengthen their teams and support their growth.

WhY do you do IT?

From a young age, I had to adapt to different cultures and environments, which naturally encouraged me to build connections and network with people. Because of that, moving into recruitment felt like a natural fit. I enjoy meeting people, understanding businesses and their needs, and working closely with candidates to understand their values as well as their skill sets. It’s incredibly rewarding to know you have helped a business build a team that will support their goals, while also helping someone find the right opportunity for them where they can grow and succeed.

WhAT KINDS OF PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN?

I have worked on a range of recruitment projects with a variety of organisations, including SMEs, start-ups, global businesses, and charities. These projects involved supporting businesses with building their teams from mid to senior level professionals.

I enjoy working closely with clients to understand their structure, culture, and long-term goals, allowing me to identify candidates who will not only add the right skills but also fit into their team.

WhAT’S ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST? 

I love travelling and experiencing new cultures (especially the food). At the top of my bucket list would be Carnival and New Year’s Eve in Rio, the Monaco Grand Prix, and visiting the lakes in Banff and Switzerland – although the list does go on…
