What do you do?
I advise business owners and private equity looking to sell, acquire or raise funds in high-growth, innovative businesses. Day to day, this involves working closely with key stakeholders in a transaction, and my role spans financial appraisal, preparation of sales materials, and management of due diligence processes, whilst maintaining a strategic view. The end goal is to deliver value for all those involved.
Why do you do it?
I was drawn to Corporate Finance for the role the team plays in recognising the value created, often for lifelong work, by entrepreneurial founders and business owners. CF provides a unique opportunity to understand value drivers for progressive and ambitious businesses and individuals, which is a huge perk. I’m big on teamwork, and the dynamic environment at CP keeps every day interesting!
What kind of projects have you been involved in?
I’m currently involved in multiple deals spanning Healthcare, Technology and Business Services and will look forward to sharing more in due course!
What’s on top of your bucket list?
A big road trip sits staunchly at the top of my bucket list. I watched a video years ago where Harry Metcalfe drove to the Arctic circle in an old Silver Shadow from eBay. I’d also love to follow Steve Coogan’s route from series one of ‘The Trip’, swapping hotels for a rooftop tent.
