Cooper Parry Digital was fortunate to attend this year’s Dreamforce conference, an event that brought together the brightest minds in technology and innovation. We witnessed firsthand the unveiling of Salesforce’s revolutionary AI platform. The new Agentforce represents a significant leap forward in autonomous AI technology, promising to transform how businesses operate across various sectors. 

What is Agentforce? 

Agentforce is Salesforce’s new AI platform designed to create and deploy autonomous AI agents that work alongside human teams to drive customer success. These agents help staff enhance productivity and decision-making. With Agentforce, are empowered to analyse vast amounts of data, make informed decisions, and act independently without the need for cumbersome approval processes and excessive oversight.  

Transforming business operations  

Agentforce stands to benefit around 150,000 existing Salesforce customers, including many Fortune 500 companies. Agentforce can effectively handle customer service inquiries, qualify sales leads, and optimise marketing campaigns, while a low-code UI allows organisations to tailor agents to meet their specific business needs, integrating seamlessly with Sales Cloud and Data Cloud. 

Atlas AI 

At the heart of Agentforce lies the Atlas AI Engine, a sophisticated autonomous reasoning engine designed to reduce misinformation and ensure agents operate within set parameters. This powerful engine enables agents to retrieve data, develop action plans, and execute tasks without requiring human oversight. By integrating Atlas into their operations, businesses can significantly enhance decision-making processes and operational efficiency. 

Enhancing customer journeys 

One of the most exciting aspects of Agentforce is its ability to embed AI deeply within customer journeys. This integration allows sales staff to anticipate customer needs and strengthen relationships, creating a more personalised experience. This capacity opens new avenues for managing resources, training, and quality assurance, all powered by the autonomous capabilities of Agentforce. 

Accuracy and reliability 

In an era where the reliability of AI tools is paramount, Agentforce stands out with its commitment to accuracy. The platform boasts a 33% improvement in accuracy compared to existing models like OpenAI on Azure, significantly reducing the risk of misinformation—a common issue in AI interactions. This high level of precision ensures that businesses can trust the actions and decisions made by their AI agents, aligning perfectly with their operational goals. 

Data Cloud enhancements

Data Cloud processes an astounding 767 trillion records each month. To improve this offering, Salesforce has promised new features that enhance support for unstructured data, including native processing of audio and video content. This allows organisations to respond instantly to customer needs and maintain high standards of data security and governance. 

Moreover, with integrations in platforms like Slack, Salesforce is enabling a collaborative environment where humans and AI can work together seamlessly. New functionalities in Slack allow users to interact with both Agentforce and third-party AI agents, enhancing workflows and communication. 

Free AI training

Last, but not least, Salesforce revealed its plans to broaden access to skill development by offering free AI training to the public. AI courses and certifications are now available at no cost through Trailhead, until the end of 2025. Additionally, Salesforce is setting up new facilities at its San Francisco headquarters, including a temporary AI Center for in-person community training and a dedicated area for employees to enhance their skills in AI tools and applications.
